Children's Book Exhibition: The Family

Children's books are a wonderful way for young children to discover the beauty of language, the charm of illustrations, and the humanistic messages of stories, nurturing their imagination, empathy, and dreams. Therefore, a children's book exhibition with new, engaging, and captivating reading experiences will be a great gateway for children to access the colorful world of art.

In the summer of 2024, The Initiative of Children's Book Creative Content (ICBC) held its first children's book exhibition in Vietnam with the theme "THE FAMILY" - sharing the belief that family is the solid foundation for children, a peaceful place where they are nurtured and educated to grow up healthy and happy.

Through the selection and presentation of 100 children's books on the theme of family published in Vietnam, the "THE FAMILY" exhibition opens up diverse, broad, and profound perspectives on family; and at the same time, inspires positive thoughts in children about loving relationships within the family through the language of children's books.

With 4 exhibition spaces, interactive installations with high educational and aesthetic value, along with a series of art tours, workshops, and performances, the "THE FAMILY" exhibition aims to promote and encourage the sustainable development of reading culture in families, schools, and communities.

The exhibition officially opens on Vietnamese Family Day, June 28, 2024, at the Vincom Contemporary Art Center (VCCA) and is open to visitors free of charge (with prior registration) from June 29 to July 28, 2024.
